President Donald Trump will begin his second term by signing a number of executive orders relating to immigration.
This includes declaring a national emergency at the southern border, ending birthright citizenship, suspending refugee resettlement and re-instituting immigration policies from his first term.
Trump’s immigration agenda was a main topic of his inaugural address, but his policies have some New Yorkers concerned about the future of their immigration status.
Elora Mukherjee, the director of Columbia Law School’s Immigrants Rights Clinic, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk about some concerns and what options immigrants have.
